We have been working on concept and art direction for Lékué’s Reuse & Reduce Collection, a 100%-silicone reusable alternative to disposable plastic bags or single-use plastic containers with lids.
Our main goal for the conceptualization of art direction has been to accurately illustrate the main attributes of the collection. One example is the perfectly leak-proof seal that keeps food safely stored and makes it easier to carry on. But, more importantly, these products have been devised with the purpose of waste reduction, providing an easy and eco-friendly alternative to other plastic or aluminium containers and plastic wraps.
Bearing all this in mind, we defined two types of still life arrangements. The first is a general product arrangement showing the range of products along with produce or dishes that you can store in them. The second type are more conceptual arrangements, in which a series of different plastic containers are shown, explaining the potential plastic waste that the consumer will not be throwing to a landfill by purchasing reusable Lékué products.
We also produce a 360-degree spinning view of the reusable bag to stress and showcase the leak-proof seal that characterizes this collection, as well as its sustainable nature.
The resulting art direction is clean and straightforward, riding on the concept of Lékué’s corporate communication that uses self-explanatory imagery to help consumers quickly grasp the use of its products.
