First general assembly of Sisón Pujol as vice president of the FAD
Last Thursday, April 22nd, the 2021 General Assembly of partners of the FAD (Foment de les Arts i el Disseny) was held. FAD is a non-profit association of professionals and companies related to design, in which associations from different creative disciplines coexist, such as ADG-FAD: A-FAD (Associació d’Artistes i Artesans), ADI-FAD (Associació de Disseny Industrial), ARQUIN-FAD (Associació Interdisciplinària del Disseny de l’Espai), MODA-FAD (Associació per al Foment de la Moda) and the MATERFAD centre of materials.
Sisón Pujol, founder and general director of NOMON DESIGN, and current president of ADG-FAD, was appointed vice president of FAD in replacement of Daniel Ayuso. Furthermore, Roser Tiana, president of Interprofit and vice president of ADG-FAD, assumed the position of member of this institution.
The event revolved around the figure of Joan Margarit, who was awarded the FAD 2021 Medal, and who was remembered by are reading of his poems, and a viewing of fragments of some of his interviews.
During the assembly, the 25 and 50-year involvement badges were also given away to the members of the entity. Sisón Pujol, as president of the ADG-FAD, presented the 50-year badge to Albert Isern Castro, renowned graphic designer, partner, and one of the founding promoters of the ADG-FAD and the Laus Awards.
Next, Sisón Pujol unveiled 2021’s graphic work, an annual limited series work created for the members of the FAD, on this occasion by the artist and designer Ronan Bouroullec. Along with his brother Erwan, they have been working in their studio in Paris since 1999 and are one of the most internationally recognized designer teams.
