We’ve expanded the company’s game range with its first puzzles for adults
After conceptualizing and developing Miquelrius’ NOT BORING GAMES board game range, we’re once again collaborating with the company to create their first puzzles for adults, which we’ve defined and named: Slow Down Puzzles.
At NOMON, our aim was for these 1000-piece puzzles not only to entertain and challenge users but also to encourage them to disconnect from daily life and immerse themselves in an activity that promotes tranquility and focus, whether done individually or with family.
Process
We conceptualized the collection and managed collaborations with illustrators and designers
Slow Down Puzzles is a collection of puzzles designed for adults seeking relaxation and refocusing. With this goal in mind, we conceptualized the range and defined three different models, determining the specific themes and aesthetics for each.
Additionally, we identified and managed collaborations with designers and illustrators who crafted each model.
The Van model is illustrated by Marina Castaño, known for her works that capture the beauty of nature and urban landscapes. The London model, designed by Bethany Lord, showcases the vibrant life of the city of London in a mix of colours and details. Lastly, the Friends model is illustrated by Küoz, who creates warm and empathetic images celebrating human connection and friendship.

We’ve created a product range that goes beyond mere entertainment
With the Slow Down Puzzles collection, we’ve enabled Miquelrius to offer a unique experience that goes beyond simple entertainment: users find in these puzzles the moment to disconnect and focus on the present while tackling the challenge.
