Challenge

Improving CARNET’s brand positioning through digital communication

In 2022, we partnered with CARNET – Future Mobility Research Hub, a platform facilitating cooperation between businesses and academia focusing on sustainable and connected mobility research and development.

Established by SEAT, UPC, and Volkswagen, and based in Barcelona, its mission is to foster innovation, collaboration, and research in future mobility.

Our challenge was to conceptualise and design their primary digital communication tool: their corporate website. We aimed to ensure it consistently reflected the brand’s values, showcased its projects, and connected with its target audiences, thereby enhancing its brand positioning.

Process

A website with intuitive navigation to communicate CARNET’s purpose

To swiftly convey the project’s purpose to users, we crafted a visual identity for its digital communication that stayed true to its branding.

We structured the website architecture, optimising and refining content for relevance, and used clear, concise language for effective communication.

Selecting appropriate typography and colour schemes, we integrated audiovisual elements to reinforce CARNET’s message and introduce its core concept: “Dynamic City”.

We designed highly intuitive navigation for easy access to information and incorporated unique graphical elements across all sections, reflecting the project’s innovative ethos.

Besides conceptualising and designing the website, we oversaw its programming to ensure seamless integration of CARNET’s design and branding.

Result

Digital communication forging connections between CARNET and its diverse audiences

The result is digital communication that simplifies the understanding of a complex project involving numerous stakeholders. It captures the essence of CARNET and engages effectively with its diverse audiences: businesses, universities, and other key players in sustainable mobility research and development.
