As a B Corp-certified responsible branding agency, we are dedicated to supporting projects that create a positive social impact. This commitment has driven us to collaborate with the Lab d’Acció Social Blanquerna (FCRI) for its seven editions, contributing our expertise in design and communication to the participating social organisations.
The purpose of the Lab (a Diploma in Social Action Communication and Marketing) is to help social organisations professionalise their communication and marketing efforts to achieve greater economic sustainability. Through the programme, participants—employees from social organisations—gain both theoretical and practical knowledge in marketing and communication.
Throughout the course, organisations identify real needs within their structures and translate them into creative briefs. Our challenge is to turn these briefs into creative, tangible solutions by designing communication materials that not only address immediate needs but also serve as strategic tools to strengthen their messaging and identity.
Over the years, we have worked with various social organisations on unique and transformative projects, providing branding and communication solutions tailored to their needs:
2024 – Fundación Quiero Trabajo
We developed a communication strategy and designed graphic materials to promote the VICTOR-IA Project by Fundación Quiero Trabajo. VICTOR-IA is a digital mentoring tool aimed at promoting the socio-labour inclusion of women at risk of exclusion.
Our proposal emotionally connected the organisation with businesses, fostering new partnerships and promoting the project’s social impact.
2023 – Fundació Mescladís
We collaborated with Fundació Mescladís to redesign the communication strategy for their Empleadís Project, which focuses on employment mediation between the Horeca sector and social organisations.
With the slogan “We connect culinary talent with the Horeca sector,” we defined a new communication concept applied to their landing page and other corporate communication materials.
2022 – Fundació SER.GI
We developed a communication campaign for the Rehabitem Project by Fundació SER.GI, which supports individuals at risk of social exclusion in Girona.
The campaign’s main goal was to encourage property owners in Girona to make their vacant homes available for social rent through the Rehabitem Project, increasing the housing supply.
The slogan, “We renovate your home so it can be a social rental,” highlighted rehabilitation as an opportunity for property owners, addressing the paradox of many empty homes coexisting with homelessness.
2020 – Fundació El Llindar
We collaborated with Fundació El Llindar, a School of New Opportunities for young people, to define the communication strategy for their new educator training project, El Llindar Lab.
The branding concept drew inspiration from the multiple meanings of the word “llindar” (threshold), focusing on its definition as “the extreme value of a magnitude that, when exceeded, changes the characteristics of the established system.”
The aim was to push the boundaries of the current education system to prevent school dropout. The project’s slogan was: “We live education expansively.” The art direction reflected educational environments, with a colour palette of blue and fluorescent green to appeal to both young people and educators.
2019 – Fundació DAU
We collaborated with Fundació DAU, which focuses on providing employment opportunities for individuals with mental health challenges.
We designed an internal communication campaign titled “We All Build DAU” to redefine and share the foundation’s values with employees, fostering team cohesion.
The concept revolved around the foundation’s name (DAU, meaning “dice” in Catalan) and its graphic representation. We created a perforated die featuring the foundation’s values, which employees assembled and placed in a shared space. This collective activity highlighted the most representative values of the organisation and became the foundation for other materials, such as a welcome pack for new employees.
2018 – Acció Social Escola Pia
We designed a communication piece for Acció Social Escola Pia, aimed at engaging their community in a solidarity-focused event centred around a fun run.
Using the concept that “many grains of sand create new opportunities,” we developed an illustrated poster that emotionally resonated with the audience, encouraging collaboration and participation while showcasing the organisation’s social initiatives.
2017 – Salut Mental Catalunya
Our first collaboration was with Salut Mental Catalunya, for whom we created an outdoor campaign to raise awareness about supporting individuals facing mental health challenges.
The campaign aimed to emphasise the high likelihood of experiencing mental health conditions while promoting the idea that, with support, they can be overcome. The goal was to reduce isolation, foster autonomy, improve relationships, and generate financial resources for the organisation.
The campaign’s slogan was: “Sometimes I lose my way. But if you help me, I’ll find my direction again.”
Each edition of the Lab d’Acció Social is an opportunity to step outside our routine and engage with social projects that generate real impact. This space for mutual learning allows us to apply our expertise in responsible branding and design while improving the communication strategies of organisations committed to social transformation.
