Challenge

Developing a concept that seamlessly continues Le Creuset’s previous campaign

For Le Creuset’s autumn-winter campaign The origin of flavour, we conceptualised, defined the structure, created the content and designed the biannual magazine Bistro. This publication fitted into the company’s marketing strategy with a concept that linked back to and gave continuity with the previous campaign Nature’s Kitchen.

A Magazine communicating seasonal collections, colour palettes, tips, recipes, and insights into its history

We discussed fresh, healthy, local and organic foods, suggested how to re-use food by preparing new recipes, and gave ideas for home-made dishes at Christmas.

These were the inspiration and concepts on which we based the structure and contents of the magazine: new products and collections, seasonal colours (deep teal, mist gray and cherry), tips for using Le Creuset products, seasonal recipes, plus anecdotes and details of the company’s history.

This edition of Bistro also featured contributions from Núria Marín, presenter and producer of the programme Cazamariposas and the prestigious 5-Michellin-star chef Paco Pérez. Though their profiles and careers are totally different, they both shared their passion for cooking, for local produce, for traditional recipes and, above all, their love of the traditional cooking pot, the cocotte.
