Challenge
Each season, for over 20 years now, we have conceptualised and designed Miquelrius’s new product collections. We create these products with the same passion for quality, innovation, and commitment to sustainability that has defined the company for more than 180 years.
For 2024, we have designed new products and collections aimed at people who love paper, take pleasure in the act of writing or drawing by hand, and value design and material quality.
Process and Result
This year, among other product ranges, we have conceptualised and designed several collections characterised primarily by their aesthetic appeal and functionality.
One highlight is the Back2Basics range, a series of desk accessories—including notebooks, note sets, erasers, pencil cases, and pens—that combines simplicity with understated design and a soft colour palette. We designed this collection with those in mind who appreciate the design and functionality of essential stationery products.
This collection also offers a range of diaries that, while minimalist in concept, feature specific details like double wire-O binding.
Additionally, we designed new flexible notebooks in A5 and A6 formats with different finishes, such as cork or soft monochromatic colours with details like stamped messages, alongside smaller, high-quality Tiny Notes notebooks in trendy colours.
The range is rounded out with new undated planners for personalised task planning and organising, along with other product lines offering a wide variety of styles, sizes, and formats so everyone can find something that suits them.
The result: new collections, conceptualised and designed with great attention to detail, aimed at an audience passionate about paper and handwriting — people who value aesthetic design, quality materials, and durable products.
