Challenge
For over 25 years, Martín Berasategui has been using Roll Drap’s products in his kitchens daily. This is the reason the world-renowned chef did not hesitate to star in the brand’s newest communication campaign, recommending its 100% cotton innovative textile solutions with technical finishes.
At NOMON DESIGN we conceptualized and defined the art direction for this campaign’s photography and audio-visuals, coinciding with the launch of Roll Drap’s rebranding and its e-commerce.
Process
The art direction is evocative and adds value to Roll Drap, making the most of the wonderful opportunity of a setting up a photographic session in the Lasarte-Oria Restaurant’s kitchens, where we produced images in which the chef and his team use Roll Drap products while cooking.
After a session in which we enjoyed experiencing how the chef and his team of almost 40 professionals prepared the service of the day, Martín Berasategui was kind enough to let us interview him in his own home. Not only did he share memories from his beginnings as a chef, but he also told us about all the things that inspire him and, above all, how Roll Drap facilitates his day-to-day life in the kitchen.
In order for this collaboration to reach every kitchen –both professional and domestic– we have applied his image and impressions in all of Roll Drap’s offline and online communication materials: packaging, web e-commerce, social media and corporate catalogue.
Result
For us, conceptualizing and developing this project has been a real pleasure and a very inspiring experience. We are really grateful to Martín for opening up his kitchen and his house to us, and it was a privilege to work alongside him and his team. We now admire his professionalism, perseverance and humility even more.
