Challenge

Transforming LC Paper’s Annual Report into an editorial piece that conveys purpose, results and vision for the future

In a highly technical sector, how can a corporate report become a true brand positioning tool? This was the challenge behind the project: to reflect LC Paper’s leadership in sustainability and innovation through an editorial piece that maintained clarity and technical rigour while conveying purpose, values, results and future vision.

LC Paper is a company with more than 140 years of history and over two decades committed to manufacturing the most sustainable paper products on the market. Its focus on zero emissions and the development of proprietary technology for the production of tissue, kraft and related paper products has positioned it as the first international manufacturer recognised as carbon neutral.

Process

Consolidating LC Paper’s identity and narrative through its Annual Report

Within this context, we conceptualised and designed its main editorial piece: transforming its annual report into a corporate report by aligning content, design and narrative under a single strategic vision.

The report was aimed at institutional clients, distributors, collaborators and stakeholders within the industrial sector, as well as a broader audience committed to sustainability. The piece therefore needed to reinforce LC Paper’s credibility and leadership, enhancing its recognition and international projection.

We defined a distinct art direction and a clear, technical visual language to highlight:

– the complexity of its production process,
– its innovative character,
– and its leadership in sustainability applied to the paper industry.

To build this visual narrative, we carried out a photographic session at its own facilities, capturing processes, machinery and team members — transforming technical expertise into a compelling story.

Through editorial design, we structured the information in an accessible and visually coherent way, combining infographics, graphic resources and narrative elements that facilitated the understanding of complex data.

The resulting piece is a corporate binder in 2 mm grey board, featuring a blind-embossed logo combined with green 647 Foilco stamping on both the cover and the back. These refined, precise finishes are fully aligned with LC Paper — a brand whose leadership speaks for itself.

Inside, the content is organised through a tabbed divider system printed on bright white Schiro Echo 100% recycled paper, using inks selected according to the highest sustainability criteria.

Each module — Introduction, About LC Paper, Sustainability and Impact, Trust, and Vision for the Future — structures the narrative clearly and hierarchically. The inner sheets allow content to be updated annually without redesigning the entire piece.

This modular system transforms the report into a living, evolving tool, reinforcing its functionality and ensuring long-term durability.

The choice of 100% recycled materials was not merely a technical decision, but a deliberate commitment to maintaining complete coherence between message and medium — between what LC Paper produces and what the piece itself represents.

Result

An Editorial Design that strengthens its projection and goes beyond an Annual Report

The result is a communication tool that consolidates LC Paper’s positioning as an innovative, committed brand and a global leader in industrial sustainability.

Through a clear and rigorous visual narrative, it strengthens the brand’s international projection and builds trust among its strategic audiences.

Because a well-designed corporate report does more than present data: it conveys values, inspires confidence and reinforces the brand.
